1:1 Exercise Physiology Policies

For all appointments, payment is due at the time - please bring Health Fund / DVA / Medicare/ credit cards with you.

Service fees are as follows (plus GST):
· Initial Consultation (60mins) - $150
Includes provision of paper based home program (as required), otherwise this can be digital.
· Subsequent Consultation (45mins) - $105
While most subsequent consultations are 45mins , this will be determined at your initial appointment, based on
your needs: 30mins - $90, 60mins - $120, 75mins - $160 (all amounts exclude GST).

HiCAPS can provide a health fund rebate on the spot (if adequate cover in your policy).

Subsidised Medicare services require up-front payment, with the rebate processed electronically in 24-48hrs.

DVA services do not incur out-of-pocket expenses if there is a valid referral, for clinically necessary treatment. ​​

DVA do not fund ongoing fitness sessions.

If funding is via a Home Care Package (HCP) or Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), please contact your care co-ordinator and put them in touch with us prior to booking, to confirm approval and referral receipt.

Referrals are also necessary for Medicare and DVA services. Please bring to reception (or send via email) prior to booking. This allows time to ensure details / codes are correct - facilitating a smooth rebate process and ensuring high quality care during your appointment.

If you're unable to attend, 24 hours phone call or written notice is required out of courtesy, so we can organise care for another resident.

If less than 24 hours notice is provided, full appointment fees apply.​

This applies to all appointments; compensable schemes do not pay for cancellations, the client is responsible.

Please give prior notice and do not attend if you have a fever, cold/flu symptoms or feel unwell; a Telehealth appointment can be arranged instead or your appointment rescheduled.

The policies below apply to the pool & gym/s of Woolooware Shores.

All new clients must be assessed prior to attending to collect medical history and ensure suitability.

It may be necessary to attend multiple 1:1’s if further skill/strength is required or if a Home Exercise Program is prescribed. (Read above for these policies)

A brief 15-20min assessment is also required following absence due to illness/surgery.

It is advisable to repeat annual 1:1 assessments if you wish to claim from health funds – to ensure claims are not deemed ‘general well-being' and money either not paid / requested to be reimbursed.

Residents using the pool/gym for individual use are requested to do so outside of class times.

No classes are scheduled on public holidays.

2025 term dates are inclusive of dates below:

Term 1 - 20 Jan to 10 April - noting Australia Day / no classes 26/1 (11 or 12 weeks)

Term 2 - 28 April to 3 July - noting 9/6 Kings Holiday (9 or 10 weeks)

Term 3 - 21 July to 25 Sept - (10 weeks)

Term 4 - 13 Oct to 18 Dec - (10 weeks)

Multi-visit passes are term based - weekly $20/session, bi-weekly $19/session (plus GST).

Small group exercise classes, 6 people - $25/ session, 4 people $35/session (plus GST).

High needs group exercise classes (2-3 people) - $40/session (plus GST)

Bookings are necessary to secure your spot; preference is given to those who pay for a term.

Paying by EFT is preferred; invoice with account details can be sent via email.

24-hours written notice is required to enable a make-up session within the term.

All multi-visit passes expire at the end of term.

If you are taking a holiday, it is recommended to book catch-up sessions before and after your break to ensure full value is obtained from your term payment.

Hospitalisations are not charged.

Please respect others during sessions - including not attending when unwell & using hand hygiene practices.

Also be mindful of noise in the in the shared foyer.

Bring your own water bottle, and gym towel.

Report ASAP if you feel unwell during exercise.

Advise if your health status changes and you will not be attending for some time.

Report any equipment faults (via pink slip) – DO NOT attempt to fix yourself.

Exercise Physiology For You does not offer a refund on class passes, unless case of injury/ surgery. In these circumstances, passes can be suspended until a time when you are well enough to return.
Gift Certificates
Gift vouchers purchased from Exercise Physiology For You are limited to the current dollar value, or service held on the voucher and are not redeemable for cash. Leftover credit from the gift vouchers will remain on the client’s profile to be used towards other services.
